Offered to girls and boys entering grades 3 through 9 in the fall of 2012. 

To use this registration system you will be required to create and activate an account. Once your account is activiated you will be able to enter your registration information and pay online using PayPal, Visa, MC, or Discover. 

Cost of the program is $40.00 which includes a team running shirt.

This program is designed for students entering grades 3 through 9 who want to learn and compete in the sport of track and field. Athletes will be instructed on the proper techniques of the field events including shot put, discus, turbo jav and long jump. New this season will be the addition of the high jump!  Running sessions focus on sprints and middle distance with emphasis on speed and endurance.

The six week program officially starts Thursday, June 28th at 5:00 PM on the Masconomet Track. 

Weekly Schedule:

Tuesday: 5:30 to 7:00 PM - (Optional) Winner Circle Track Meets - See racing schedule below

Thursday: 5:00 to 6:30 PM - Masco Track (Speed work and field event practice for all)

Saturday: 9:00 to 10:00 AM - Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield. Recommended for competitive and cross country runners.

There are optional weekly Tuesday night track meets sponsored by Winners Circle Running Club at various North Shore locations. (See racing schedule below) These meets are contested in elementary, middle and high school/open categories and perfect for athletes new to the sport! Entry fee of $5.00 per meet is not included in the cost of the program.

Volunteers Needed:  In order to run a successful program we need volunteers to assist in coaching and timing.  No experience required!
