Stiles Pond Beach, just off Main Street, with some of the cleanest fresh water in eastern Massachusetts, is the place to meet friends and neighbors in this relaxed and fun atmosphere during the hot months of June, July and August. The 2010 season will officially begin on June 12th and end on August 30th. Membership to the Keith Koster Park at Stiles Pond is offered to residents of Boxford only for a nominal fee of $125 per family. Senior rates (62 years and older) is Free. Members may also bring along guests for a small fee to enjoy a day at the beach, which is staffed by certified Red Cross lifeguards.
Registration is ongoing throughout the season by simply signing up with the lifeguards on duty beginning Saturday June 12th. Proof of residency is required.. Stiles Pond Beach is open Monday through Saturday 9:00 am - 8:00pm, Sunday 10:00 am to 8:00pm (the beach closes at 7pm beginning August 9th). Hours are always weather permitting.
Association's dedicated volunteers run the beach during the summer months and there are always plenty of fun things to do. There are paddleboats, canoes and kayaks to use all free of charge. A concession stand serving hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and slush is open during prime time hours. There's a basketball and volleyball area, a playground for the children, docks, floats and plenty of picnic tables. Family picnics and cookouts are a tradition at Keith Koster Park.
Stiles Pond Beach offers swimming lessons by certified Red Cross instructors. For the 2010 season lessons will begin July 6 and run Monday-Thursday through July 30. Lessons for the season are $25.00 per person for members, $35.00 per person for non-members. Lesson run between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m depending on the swimmer's level. Swimmers will be evaluated and placed in the appropriate swim group. Durng Swim Lessons only participants in the lessons are allowed in the water.

The Beach operates exclusively by the fees that the membership pay and no tax dollars are spent towards improvements or maintenance. The Beach Committee has worked hard over the years to make Keith Koster Park something we can all be proud of. We look forward to seeing everyone this summer.
