July 4th Road Race
Set in the historic East Boxford Village, the Jennifer Tinney Memorial 4th of July Road Race is a popular 5 mile competitive event. For the children, there is a 1 mile Kid's Race. Non-runners are invited to participate in a 2.5 mile Walk For Fitness. Awards are presented to top finishers in the 5 Mile Run and Kid's Race. The 5 Mile Run and Walk For Fitness start at 8:00 a.m. The Kid's Race starts at approximately 8:15.
Proceeds are directed to the Jennifer Tinney Scholarship Fund at Masconomet High School.
The race is usually followed by a parade, barbecue, and fun activities for the family.
